Mini Artic It was not pretty, it was not new, it was not fast and it was not the way we needed it to be, but we loved it. The Dodge unit has now been scrapped as it was uneconomical to rebuild, although it wasn’t rusty in any way. The trailer will be completely rebuilt to better suit our needs and the awning will be retained to attach to the main section of the trailer, leaving the section above the ‘goose neck’ clear to become a fold out area to allow accommodation for 6 adults. The awning is 23’ x 10’ which will allow us to have both cars under cover at night or when the weather is poor. We have of course bought a new unit to tow this trailer with and when we have rebuilt it, it will be a welcome addition to our fleet of vehicles. The trailer will be completely rebuilt from the chassis up and it will be pulled by the 1959 GMC truck we imported from America.
