What a pleasant change.  A request for a custom build for a lady driver.  The spec was simple.  Mk 1 Escort, bubble arches, racing stripe and 4 spotlights.  But this was no show only car, it had to have a simple but powerful engine and had to go as well as it looked.  Fast road Pinto power and 5 speed.  No cage was required because of the school run and the need for four seats for the family to enjoy.  The rest was up to us, just the way we like it.  Chatting to Vikki and Phil, I soon realised that the standard basic interior wasn’t going to impress.  I knew what would though and it really hit the spot.  Full width dash and full compliment of
