The car will be running independent front and rear wishbone suspension. I have fabricated the front uprights, a very time consuming job, which utilise Grp4 Aluminium hubs. The rear uprights are also special one offs as I have machined a pair of cast aluminium uprights to take the Cosworth 2wd CV’s and drive flanges, again a very time consuming job. |

A Ford Cosworth engine with a T4 turbo producing in excess of 500 bhp and 500 ft/lbs of torque will provide the power, lubrication of this is taken care of by the usual Pace dry sump system. Although this kind of power figure in my working environment is the low end of the norm (Andy’s car produce’s in excess of 2400 BHP, and others produce up to 7000 BHP) I feel it will be adequate for my project. |
