Here we show we finished the sides of the front end mold with gel coat, then fibreglass matt.  When it was all dried for at least 24 hours, and before we removed it from the car, we drilled through the flanges so that when we had the mold off the car we could bolt the mold back together to form a one piece front end mold from which to take moldings.   Picture three shows Jason removing the mold from the car.  The sides come off first followed by the centre section.  We also show Darren repeating the process on the rear wings.

Note:- This is still the mold.  The outside of the mold is rough, but the inside surface is the important bit and is smooth.  Some people find this concept hard to grasp.

Top Tip -- Wear rubber gloves at all times as fibreglass resin is extremely sticky and a right pig to remove.
