1 Making payments in person is always the best way as you can see progress on your car. You are ALWAYS welcome to come and see your car being worked on at any time.
2 We also sometimes require payment when you can’t come in person, due to distance, work, etc., so will will always be happy to receive a cheque in the post. This should only take a couple of days to arrive, but sometimes several weeks???
3 Finally, you can pay using any credit card through Paypal, by clicking the link on this page.
How can you pay for one of our cars? You may well ask. Please remember, if you had £50,000 today, you would not be able to take delivery of your car for between 3 and 6 months, so there really isn’t that much of a panic.
After making your initial enquiry, we will need to meet to discuss in depth, the exact requirements of your car, in as great a detail as is possible. We will then give you an estimate of the price for the build as per the specification on the build sheet.
NOTE: This will be an estimate, NOT a quote. Every car is unique and details WILL change throughout the build process, either by you or sometimes us, or sometimes due to what is or is not available. One thing that is fixed and that is our hourly rate, which currently stands at £35 per hour, no VAT, yet. ALL parts, materials and sundries are EXTRA. One recent customer came to us with £10k for a conversion and then proceeded to spend £13k on Parts alone!!! Not our fault.
When you are happy with what we have planned and the estimate of costs, only then will we require a deposit from you either to book your place or to get things started. The amount will depend on many things unique to your build, but as a rule we DO NOT want too much money up front if we are not ready to start the build immediately as this causes us problems later on. Similarly, we do not want to be too far in front with the work if you have an outstanding invoice. 40 hours @ £35 = £1400 per week, its not rocket science!!! PLUS PARTS.
